Robert Byrne holds certifications as a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) and a Professional Inspector (CPI), with specialized backgrounds in Electrical and Mechanical engineering. He is a licensed home inspector in the state of New York, where he also holds a DEC license as a pest technician.

He serves as a licensed New York State instructor, offering courses for new inspectors as well as continuing education classes tailored for home inspectors and real estate agents. He holds certifications as a New York State licensed home inspector and a New York State DEC termite inspector. With over 1000 home inspections under his belt, Christopher brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every job. Christopher attended Farmingdale State College, where he not only excelled academically but also showcased his competitive spirit by playing hockey for Farmingdale. His dedication to excellence extends beyond his own career; Christopher has contributed significantly to the development of new inspectors by teaching report writing and providing field training. Christopher's extensive experience, educational background, and commitment to mentoring make him a trusted and respected figure in the home inspection community and a licensed inspector in New York & Florida.

Joseph Byrne is a graduate of Manhattan College with a BS degree in Finance and plays a crucial role in running the day-to-day operations of the family-owned business. Joseph worked for one of the largest oil companies in Brooklyn during his internship and full-time after he graduated college. Before transitioning to the family business, Joseph brought corporate ideas to Higher Elevation and applies them on a daily basis. With a strong financial acumen, he manages all business finances daily, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial planning. In addition to his financial responsibilities, Joseph actively involved in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility. His comprehensive approach and dedication have been instrumental in the company's success and continued expansion.

Ed White brings over 40 years of experience in commercial inspection industry, holding certifications as both a Professional Inspector and a Master Inspector (CPI/CMI). His background in structural engineering provides a solid foundation for his expert assessments. A proud US Army veteran and retired FDNY chief, Ed's dedication to service and safety is unparalleled. As a New York State licensed instructor, Ed passionately teaches the home inspection course curriculum to new inspectors and offers continuing education classes for licensed inspectors. His commitment to the industry extends beyond teaching, as he also mentors upcoming inspectors, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience to help them succeed. 

Jim has been a key member of the East Coast Commercial team for over 10 years and has played an integral role in the company’s growth alongside Rob, Chris, and Joseph. He has been deeply involved in the educational side of the business, contributing to continuing education (CE) classes for real estate professionals, supporting home inspector students, and developing professional PowerPoint presentations for courses taught both locally on Long Island and nationally.

In addition to his educational role, Jim plays a major part in managing East Coast's digital presence, including social media strategy, content creation, and website design and updates. His dedication across education, training, and digital media has helped grow East Coast Commercial Inspections into the leading commercial inspection company it is today.

Josh Braun brings more than two decades of sales, marketing, and client relationship experience across the construction, real estate, and commercial property sectors to his role as VP and Director of New Business Development at East Coast CPI. His career reflects a consistent throughline: identifying growth opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and translating industry expertise into new revenue.

Josh's sales and marketing leadership began at Sutton Land Title Company, where he served as Senior Title Sales Manager, cultivating client and referral relationships across the title insurance industry. He went on to serve as VP of Sales & Marketing for NEP International, directing national sales strategy for OTC pharmaceutical packaging — experience that sharpened his ability to build sales infrastructure and drive growth in a competitive, relationship-driven market.

He later brought that same sales orientation to commercial real estate as a principal at TNK Consulting, where he worked in brokerage, investment sales, syndication, and venture capital, developing deep fluency in parcel assemblage, zoning, and property conversions. As General Operations Manager for a multi-division home improvement retailer, he expanded sales across several business lines and built new showroom concepts that repositioned the company as a market destination.

Most recently, Josh has applied his construction industry knowledge as a licensed Construction Site Safety Superintendent, giving him firsthand insight into the compliance and property conditions that matter most to commercial property owners and developers — insight he now brings directly to new business development at East Coast CPI.

A graduate of Adelphi University with a degree in Business & Marketing, Josh is known for his strong ethics, adaptability, and ability to earn client trust across industries.
